Scholarships and Awards

SCHOLARSHIPS & MERIT AWARDS
Based on the recommendations of the heads of the departments, an Awards Committee selects students for the various scholarships and Merit Awards, taking into account their performance in the Examinations of the revious academic year. The scholarships and awards are distributed at a glittering ceremony — ‘Merit Day’ — held every year before the month of January.

SCHOLARSHIPS
1. The Scholarships are classed under two heads.
a) “Closed” i.e., reserved for the Catholic students of the Diocese of Kollam.
b) “Open” i.e., available to students of all communities.
2. No two scholarships can be held by the same student concurrently except by specific sanction of the Awards Committee.
3 Awards will not be made if there are no deserving candidates.
4. Scholarships shall be awarded on a year-to-year basis taking merit-cum-means as well as conduct into consideration. A student whose conduct does not seem satisfactory to the Awards Committee will NOT BE ELIGIBLE for any of the awards or scholarships.
5. Scholarships are liable to be withheld temporarily or forfeited in the event of the student’s continued absence, negligence in studies or misbehaviour.
6. Students who do not pass the Plus two level or Degree examination in the first appearance will not ordinarily be considered for the award of the scholarships.
7. The selection of candidates for the scholarships shall be made by the Awards Committee.
8. These and following rules may be revised by the Principal as and when found necessary.

2. Felix John Memorial Scholarship 

This scholarship  will be awarded to a student on the basis of merit-cum-means from D.C. III Zoology (Main).The selection will be made by a panel of teaches appointed by the Head of the Department.

3. Rev. Mother Delphine Mary Scholarship 

(Instituted by the teachers of the Department of Zoology . This scholarship  will be awarded to the Latin Catholic student who secures the highest marks (not less
than 60%) in M.Sc. (Previous) Zoology.

4. Prof. L.G. Netto Retirement Memorial Scholarship

 The scholarship amount of Rs. 250/- will be awarded to the Latin Catholic student who scores the highest marks in M.A. Economics in the final year.

5. Prof. E.A. George Retirement Memorial Scholarship

 The scholarship amount of Rs. 250/- will be awarded to the Latin Catholic student who secures the highest marks in M.A.(Previous) Examination.

6. Linda Netto Memorial Scholarships

The scholarship of Rs. 1000/- was instituted by her mother, Mrs Marjorie Netto and the other members of the family to perpetuate her memory. It is awarded to a Latin Catholic Student who scores the highest marks in the First Year M.Sc. (Physics) examination.

7. Rev. Fr Stanley Roman Retirement Memorial Scholarship 1996

(Instituted in 1996 by the Non-teaching Staff Welfare Trust reserved for the children of the N.T.S. of this college)
A Scholarship of Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the student securing the highest percentage of marks (passed) in the Final year Degree examination. If there are no eligible candidates, the scholarship will be awarded to second year or first year student (in the order respectively) on the same consideration

8. Steven Risch Scholarship instituted by Dr. Albin (USA)

The Scholarship amount of Rs 500 will be awarded to the Latin Catholic Student who secures highest marks in B.Sc. Physics in the Final year.

9. Prof. Antony George Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by the members of his family)
1. A scholarship of Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the LC student of B.Sc.Botany Main who secures the highest marks for the main papers (not less than 60% in theory)
2. A scholarship of Rs. 500/- to the M.Sc. Botany student who secures the highest mark in Taxonomy (not less than 58% for theory) 

10 Rev. Dr Richard Fernandez Sacerdotal Golden Jubilee Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by members of his family)
A scholarship of Rs. 2000/- will be awarded to a meritorious Catholic Student who is an allrounder and shows excellence in activities organised by Campus Ministry / Jesus Youth / AICUF.

11. Dr Jaya Thekkayyam Retirement Memorial Scholarship

As 1000/- (Rupees one thousand) to be awarded on merit cum means to a final year M.A. English student, of the Latin Catholic Community, selected by the teachers of the department.

OPEN SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Prof. Radha R. Nair Scholarship (Rs. 101/-)

To be awarded to the B.A. Malayalam Main student who obtains the highest marks for Sanskrit.

2. Prof. Antony George Retirement Memorial Scholarship

Instituted by the Botany Department staff & students. Rs.500/-  will be given to the student who secures not less than 58% for theory in the M.Sc. Degree examination .

3. Prof. Rema Devi Retirement Memorial Scholarship (Rs. 125/-) 

To be awarded to the second year B.A. Malayalam student who secures 60% marks for Kerala Culture.

4. Prof. Antony Lionel Fernandez Retirement Memorial Scholarship (Rs. 500/-)

To be awarded to the student who secures the highest marks for B.A. Political Science (Minimum 50% mark) 

5. T.K. Kurien Retirement Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by the staff and students of the Botany Department) The scholarship amount of Rs. 100/- will be awarded to the III D.C. student who secures the highest marks in the second year main subjects. (Not less than 60%).

6. Mrs Annie Mathew Scholarship 1993 (Rs. 100/-)

Instituted by her students now working in the Department of Botany. To be awarded each year to the first year Botany (Main) student who scores the highest marks for the Main subjects, but not below 60% in the first year examination.

7. Sri K.J. Alexander Memorial Scholarship (1974)

(This scholarship was instituted in memory of the late K.J. Alexander, Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry of this college from 1961 to 1973, who died in a scooter accident on October 9, 1973). The scholarship of Rs 500/- to be awarded to the Chemistry (Main) student of the college who passes his/ her final examination, securing the highest marks with not less than 75% for the Main and Subsidiary subjects taken together.

8. Sri P.K. Thomas Memorial Scholarship 1983 (Rs 200/-)

To be awarded each year to the second year Mathematics (Main) student of the college who secures the highest marks for Statistics and Physics subsidiaries in the second year examination.

9. Prof. Ralph Morris Memorial Scholarship 1988

Scholarship (instituted by the M.A. Economics students of 1981-83) of Rs 150/- to be awarded each year to the second year Economics (Main) student who scores the highest marks in the Main subject in the second year examination.

10. Vijayan Pillai Memorial Scholarship 1984

(Instituted by the members of his family)

An award of Rs 500/-to be continuously awarded for three years to an Economics (Main) Degree Student (Male) for the completion of his course of study. The selection of the student for the award will be made on the basis of merit cum means.

11. Rev. Dr A. J. Rozario Scholarship 1984

(Instituted by the F.M.N. College staff Co-operative Bank Ltd. No. Q 503 in appreciation of the services rendered by Rev. Dr A.J. Rozario as the ex-officio President of the Bank from 1976 to 1984.) Awarded each year to the M.Com (Previous) student of the college who scores the highest marks.

12. George Mathew Memorial Scholarship
(Instituted by the staff and students of the Department of Economics during 1987-88). S
cholarship of Rs. 300/- to be awarded every year to the student of second year B.A. Economics (Main) who passes Part II Second Language and scores the highest marks for Indian History.

13. Percival Bruno D’Cruz Memorial Scholarship 1994
Scholarship of Rs. 500/- to be awarded to the M.Sc. (Final) student who secures the maximum marks in M.Sc. (Previous) examination in Zoology with not less than 60%

14. A.T. John Memorial Scholarship

(Two awards instituted by the staff and students of Zoology Dept. to perpetuate the memory of Mr A.T. John, Lecturer, Department of Zoology who passed away on December 4, 1992)
1. The candidate who secures the highest marks with not less than 60% aggregate in M.Sc. (Zoology) is given a scholarship of Rs. 400/-.
2. The candidate who secures the highest marks with not less than 60% aggregate in B.Sc. (Zoology) (Part III) is given a scholarship of Rs. 500/-.

15. Dr Paul Christian & Mrs Pamela Christian Scholarship

Two awards of Rs. 1000/- each, instituted in 1994-95)
1. Awarded to a third D.C. Maths (Main) student on merit cum means basis. Marks secured in the second year (Main) examination will be considered for merit.
2. Awarded to a second D.C. Maths (Main) student on meritcum means basis. Marks secured in the first year (Main) examination will be considered for merit.

16. Rev. Fr Alphonse G. Thundil Scholarship
1. A scholarship of Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the final year B.Sc. Polymer Chemistry Main student who secures the highest marks with distinction in the Ist Chance in Part III Main & Subsidiary subjects taken together.
2. A scholarship of Rs. 1000/- will be awarded to the final year  M.Sc. Chemistry student who secures the highest marks in the first chance with a first class as well as the highest marks in the previous and final revaluation taken together.
3. A scholarship of Rs. 500/- to be awarded to the final year B.Sc. Polymer Chemistry main student of the Latin Catholic Community who secures the highest marks in part III Main and Subsidiary subjects taken together in the first chance.

17. Prof. Paul Varghese Retirement Scholarship

(Instituted by the students of B.Sc. Chemistry 1994-97 batch) Rs. 300/- to be awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in Paper II Organic Chemistry of II year Chemistry Main examination with not less than 70% (first appearance)

18. Prof. K.S. Elias Memorial Scholarship (Open)

(Instituted by the members of the family of Prof. K.S. Elias in 1997) This scholarship of Rs. 750/- is to be awarded to the student who graduates with the highest marks in Part III of B.A. English Language and Literature.

19. Prof. Cessy Cherian Retirement Scholarship (Two Nos.)
1. This scholarship, of Rs. 500/-, instituted in 2000 by her husband and children, is to be awarded to the student of M.Sc. Final (Botany) who secures the highest marks, but not below 60% in the Examination.
2. This scholarship of Rs 500/-, instituted by the former students of the department of Botany is to be awarded to the student of M.Sc. (Botany) Previous who secures the highest marks.

20. Reji T. Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by the students and class teachers of B.Sc. Physics of 1993- 96 batch in memory of Reji T. who died in accident on October 28, 1997). To be awarded to the final Physics student who secures the highest marks.

21. Victor Augustine Memorial Scholarship

(This scholarship, with a capital amount of Rs. 3 lakhs, is instituted to perpetuate the memory of the late Victor babu (Second Year Predegree student of F.M.N.C. 1997-98) by his family members, friends and relatives). The scholarship will be awarded to students on merit-cum-means basis. The other criteria for selection of eligible students include academic excellence, integrity of character,  attendance and participation in extra-curricular activities. At least ten students from under graduate, post graduate levels will receive Rs. 2000/- each.

22. PTA Scholarships

The scholarship will be awarded to  students on merit-cum-means basis. The other criteria for selection of eligible students include academic excellence, character, attendance and participation in extra-curricular activities. At least twelve students – from under graduate, post graduate and research levels – will receive not less than Rs. 2000/- each.

23. Prof. K.T. Kurien Memorial Scholarship

(The scholarship has been instituted to perpetuate the memory of the Late Prof. K.T. Kurien, first Head of the Department of Zoology of this college, by his wife Prof. Thresiamma Kurien) The scholarship is to be on merit-cummeans awarded to a first year M.Sc. Zoology student who should have graduated from this college. The value of this scholarship is Rs. 1500/- 

24. Sri. S. Roosevelt Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by members of his family) Rs. 1000/- will be awarded to the student of final year B.Sc. Maths who secures the highest marks.

25. Mercy Navis (Mary Netto) Memorial Scholarship

Instituted by Dr. Lawrencina Beryl Navis, Dept. of English. This scholarship of Rs. 500/- is to be awarded to the student of English Literature (II D.C. I Chance) who scores the highest weighted grade points in the complementary course-I “History of English Literature”.

26. Alphy Navis Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by Dr. Lawrencina Beryl Navis, Dept. of English) This scholarship of Rs. 500/- is to be awarded to the student of English Literature (IID.C. I Chance) who scores the highest weighted grade points in the complementary course-II “Indian Literature in English”

27. Dr Sathyanandan Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship of Rs.3000/- is instituted by Prof. Dr.Albin (USA) in memory of his Ph.D guide Dr. Sathyanandan, for a Physics student.

28. Dr Leelakumari Retirement Scholarship

This scholarship of Rs. 700/- is instituted for student scoring the maximum marks in M.A. Malayalam. 

29. Mother Teresa Open Scholarship

(This scholarship is instituted by P.John Cross and family) to be distributed to two final year degree student of (a) B.A. English; and (b) B.Sc Chemistry . Rs 600/- to be given to each student based on merit cum means.

30. Sr Adolf Mary Retirement Scholarship 2007

A scholarship of Rs. 350/- will be awarded to a B.Com student who secures the highest marks in French. 

31. Msgr Vincent G. Vliatharayil Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by Dr. Stellamma Xavier) Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the student of II BA/B.Sc. who scores the highest marks in Hindi.

32. Prof. C.P. Devassy Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by the members of his family in memory of Prof C P Devassy, Rtd HOD of Physics)  Twelve students, one from each department will receive Rs. 1000/- each on merit-cummeans basis.

33. Dr George D’Cruz Retirement Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship of Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the B.Sc. Zoology student who secures the highest marks.

34. Fr C.M. George Diamond Jubilee Endowment

(This scholarship with a capital amount of Rs. 1 lakh is instituted by Smt. Mariyamma Jacob, niece of Rev. Fr.C.M. George, Former Principal of FMN College on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of his Priestly Ordination (19-3-2009). Nine open scholarships (Rs. 1000/- each) to be awarded every year to the students of postgraduate courses who graduate with the highest marks after completing the degree courses in FMN College.

35. Sri S. Ben & Juliet Ben Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by Dr. B. Johnson, formerly Vice Principal & Reader, Dept. of Commerce, FMNC)  Rs. 1000/- is awarded to the student who secures the highest mark in final B.Com.


36. Joseph (Pappu) Kattassery Memorial Scholarship

(Instituted by Dr Lawrencina Beryl Navis) Rs. 500/- (2 nos.) is to be awarded to the best Library user, adjudged by the Dept. of English.

37. Hilda Stephen scholarship

Rs.3000/- per year continuously for 3 years to a B.Sc Chemistry student belonging to the BPL Category, who scores the highest marks in the 1st year (part III) provided she maintains an aggregate of not less than 70% in the consecutive years.

38. Clement Stephen Scholarship

Rs.3000/- per year continuously for 3 years to a B.Sc Physics student belonging to the BPL Category, who scores the highest marks in the 1st year (Core subject) provided s/he maintains an aggregate of not less than 70% in the consecutive years.


39. Mrs Elizabeth Fen Retirement Scholarship
Rs.1000/- is to be awarded on merit-cum-means to a final year BA English student, selected by the teachers of the department

40. Mahesh C.M. Award for Light Music
(Instituted by the parents of late Mr. Mahesh, a former student of the college) Rs.1000/- each will be awarded to the male and female winners in the light music competition.


41. Fatima Chemistry Alumni Association Scholarship
Rs. 2000/- to be awarded to a Final year student of M.Sc. Chemistry on merit cum means basis. The student shall have good academic record in the M.Sc. First year and be of sound character. The student will be selected by the Department with the concurrence of the Association.P


42. Carmel Joseph Kattassery Memorial Scholarship :

(Instituted by Dr Lawrencina Beryl Navis)  Rs.1000/- will be awarded to the final year student of Malayalam Literature (UG – CBCSS) who scores the highest grade point (Sixth Semester).


43. Augustine Felix Kattassery Memorial Scholarship :
(Instituted by Dr Lawrencina Beryl Navis) Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the IInd year Degree student of Physics (UG-CBCSS) who scores the highest grade point in English language courses.


44. Prof. Radha R. Nayar Memorial Scholarship

1. Rs.1000/- will be awarded to the B.A. Malayalam main student who obtains the highest marks for Sanskrit (Subsidiary).
2. Rs.1000/- will be awarded to the student who obtains the highest marks for Part I English.

45. Prof. Sabitha K. Nair Scholarship

1. Rs.1000/- will be awarded to a student of English M.A. who scores the highest
marks for the First Semester Examinations.
2. Rs. 1000/- will be awarded to the university youth festival winner in classical music competition.

46. Prof. Philip John Retirement Scholarship

Rs. 1000/- will be awarded to the final year M.A. English student who secures the highest marks in Amercian Literature.

47. Prof. Dafne Joan D’ Souza Retirement Memorial Scholarship

Rs.1000/- will be awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the Examination for the First Year B.A. Degree (I & II Sem.) Economics.

48. Mr. P. Raman Pillai Memorial Scholarship

(This scholarship was instituted by Mr. P.R. Unnikrishnan Pillai son of Mr. Raman Pillai) This scholarship of Rs. 1000/- will be given to the Sports Champion of this College.

49. Rev. Fr C.M. George Memorial Scholarship

(This scholarship was instituted by the first batch B.A. English & Literature Students). Rs.2000/- will be given to a student of M.A. English Language and Literature who secures the highest marks in the first two semesters.

50. Mother Eliswa Scholarship

(Instituted by the Dr Sr Soosamma Kavumpurath to Commemorate the Death Centenary of Servant of God Mother Eliswa, the founders of CTC)  Rs.2000/- will be given to the best all Rounder of the College.

51. B.Sc Chemistry 1984-87 Batch Scholarship :

(This Scholarship instituted by 1984-87 B.Sc Chemistry students) Rs. 1500 will be awarded to the final year B.Sc Chemistry student on merit cum means.

PRIZES

1. Row Memorial Prize

(Instituted in memory of late P.V. Seshagiri Row, Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce (1960-1963). Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the students of II B.Com.who score the highest marks with not less than 55% of the total marks.

2. Rev. Fr Vincent Fernandez Memorial Prize

(Instituted by his nephew Rev. Msgr. A.J. Rozario (former Principal and Manager) Rs. 300/- will be awarded to the M.A. English Literature student of the college who scores the highest marks in the examination but not below 50% of the total marks.

3. Rev. Sr Manuela Mary Memorial Prize

Rs. 300/- will be awarded each year to a B.A / B.Sc. Degree student who scores the highest marks in French provided the student passes in first class.

4. Rev. Fr Augustine Kalathara Memorial Prize

(Instituted by the staff and students of F.M.N. College (1970- 71) in appreciation of the services rendered by the late Rev. Fr Augustine Kalathara, Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Chaplain of C.S.U (1951-70).
 200/- will be awarded each year to the M.A. Economics final year student who secures the maximum marks but not below 55% of the total marks.

5. The Best All Rounder Teresa Gardner Memorial Prize

(Instituted by Mr. & Mrs. Robert Shmina – U.S.A) Rs. 500/- will be awarded to the best all rounder, as per rules formulated for the purpose of this award.

6. Prof. C.P. Devassy Prize (1974)

(Instituted by the staff and students of the Physics Department in honour of the retired Prof. C.P. Devassy, Head of the Department of Physics (1951-1974). 
Rs. 300/- will be awarded to the M.Sc. Physics final year student of the college who secures the highest marks in the University examination but not below 65% of the total marks.

7. Prof. K.C. Pappoo Prize (1974)

(Instituted by the staff and students of the Chemistry Department in 1974 in the name of Prof. K.C. Pappoo who retired that year after two decades of service as the Head of the Department)
Rs. 100/- will be awarded to the first year B.Sc. Chemistry student who secures the highest marks in Chemistry

8. Narayana Swamy Memorial Prize (1977)

(Instituted in 1977 by Sri. Narayana Iyer, First Class Additional District & Sessions (Special) Judge, Ernakulam in memory of his son Narayana Swamy, who was a student of this college)
100/- will be awarded each year to the second B.A. Literature student who secures the highest marks in Part 1 English.

9. Naniamma Kochera Panicker Memorial Prize (1978)

(Instituted in 1987 by Sri. Sadasivan Nair B.A., B.L., Advocate, Kollam in memory of his father)
Rs. 100/- will be awarded to the Second year B.A / B.Sc. Student who secures the highest marks with not less than 50% , in Part-I English.

10. Manakkat Adv. G. Sadasivan Nair Memorial Scholarship

(Institued by Smt. Ambika Nair & Smt. Syama Nair). 
Rs. 1000/- will be awared to the Final Year BSc (Zoology) student who secures the highest marks but not less than  60%.

11. K. Parameswaran Pillai (Poilakkada) Memorial Prize (1978)

(Instituted in 1978 by Sri. Lekshmanan Pillai and Sri. P. Bharathan Pillai, Kollam in memory of their father)
Rs. 400/- will be awarded to the final year B.Sc. Botany student who secures the highest marks in the final year examination but not less than 60%.

12. Prof. N.J. Thomas Prizes (1980)

(Instituted in 1980 by the staff and students, past and present of the Department of Botany in honour of Prof. N.J. Thomas who served the Department as its Head from 1953 to 1980) Rs. 450/- will be awarded to the student of M.Sc. (Botany) final year class who secures the highest marks in the examination but not below 60%.

13. Prof. Clement D’Cruz Memorial Prizes

Two prizes of Rs. 200/- and Rs. 100/- will be given to the Degree and P. G. (Previous) classes respectively. The first of the two prizes will be awarded to the III B.A. (Economics) student who secures the highest marks in the University examination but not less than 50%. The second will be awarded to the P.G. (Previous) student (Economics), securing the highest marks.

14. M.G. Alex Memorial Prize (1981)

(Instituted by the III B.Com. students in 1981 to perpetuate the memory of M.G. Alex who died in an accident on July 17, 1981)
Rs. 101/- will be awarded to the III D.C. (B.Com.) student for highest marks in Accountancy.

15. Kuttenperoor Chackalakal (1982)

(Smt & Sri Varkey Zacharias Memorial Prize Instituted in 1982 by Sri. Joseph Zacharias, Changanacherry on behalf of his sister and brothers in memory of his parents)
Rs. 150/- will be awarded to the student of B.Sc. (Maths) final year class who obtains the highest marks in the examination but not below 70%.

16. Louise Wiles Memorial Prizes (1983)

(Instituted in 1983 by her friends in U.S.A )
Rs. 400/- will be awarded to the M.Sc. (Zoology) final year student who secures the highest marks in the final year examination but not below 60%.

17. Felix John Memorial Prize

Three awards(two open and one closed). Instituted to perpetuate the memory of Sri. Felix John, Lecturer in the Department of Zoology, who was called to eternal rest on March 22, 1984.
One open scholarship of the value Rs.550/- is to be awarded to the M.Sc final student who secures the highest marks in M.Sc Zoology (previous), but not below 65% .

18. Prof. I.P. Napolean Memorial Inter Collegiate Zoology Quiz Competition Prizes

These prizes have been instituted to perpetuate the memory of the Late Prof. I.P. Napolean of the Department of Zoology by his family members. The prizes of the values of Rs. 600/- and Rs. 400/- will be awarded to the first and second prize winners of the inter-collegiate Zoology quiz competition conducted by the Department of Zoology of this college.

19. Prof. A.P. Cherian Prize 1983

(Instituted by the Staff of the Department of Economics) 
Rs. 150/- will be awarded each year to the M.A. (Economics) final year student who secures the second highest marks.

20. Alexis Marian J. Kattassery Memorial Prize
(Instituted by Dr Lawrencina Beryl Navis.) 
Rs. 1000/- will be given to a IIIrd year English Student who excels in sports and games. (Judged by the Department of English)

 

ENDOWMENT FUND

Bhagavathy Ammal Memorial Endowment Fund Instituted by Sri Nata C. Nataraaj (1961-64 Batch, B.Com Student) Management Consultant, Zambia. A Cash Prize of Rs. 15,000/- will be awarded each year to an outgoing B.Com Student who scores the highest marks. (Starting from 2016 Batch)

The STAFF ASSOCIATION of FMN College has instituted the Rev. Msgr A.J. ROZARIO MEMORIAL Scholarship in memory of the late Msgr A.J. Rozario, former Principal who also served the College as Lecturer, Vice Principal, and Manager.

This Scholarship, amounting to Rs. 2000 per student is awarded to one student from each of the departments of Arts, Science and Commerce. Selection is based on Merit- cum-Means as per the recommendations of the respective HODs.

Rev.  Msgr A.J.  ROZARIO  ENDOWMENT

The Former Students’ Association of FMN College has created the Rev. Msgr A.J. Rozario Endowment in memory of the late Msgr A.J. Rozario, former Principal who also served the College as Lecturer, Vice Principal, and Manager. One of the aims of the Endowment is to provide Medical / Educational aid to deserving students annually.

Students who have some serious health problem and are in need of financial support for their treatment OR students who need monetary help for their education  can apply to the Principal. The endowment Committee of the Former Student’s Association will consider such applications on merit and availability of funds and extend maximum support.
